MercyMe has been a perennial favorite at Fishfest, and once again the power and grace of Jesus Christ was shown through their words and music. Running through many favorites like Move, You Reign and of course the heartfelt I Can Only Imagine Bart and the guys once again shared God’s grace to a thankful crowd. Bart is always especially insightful around topics important to everyone. On this night he took time to explain the song Beautiful. Written for his daughters, it can be applied to sons and daughters and everyone else. You truly are God’s beautiful creation. Don’t get caught up in the worlds twisted view of beauty. simply look to the mirror; you ARE beautiful. With most of the crowd touched to the point of tears the song was especially impactful.
All in all, this was another great night of worship to our King. Our Lord and Savior. when MercyMe stops by your town or one nearby don’t miss the opportunity to go see them. God was and indeed is with us.
