Third Day rocks the house at Fishfest 2011

You know it’s an incredible line-up for a show when you find Third Day in something other than the closing anchor. When The Fish 95.9 radio and Transparent Productions built the show schedule for this tenth anniversary show it included several acts usually seen as headliners. Third Day rocked the evening crowd in a position between The David Crowder Band and MercyMe. Wow!

And rock-it they did. Having appeared several times at Fishfest in the past it was only fitting for them to be here for the anniversary. Mac Powell seemed to be in a somewhat playful mood and was enjoying the show as much as the 1000’s in the amphitheater. Opening with Otherside and running through favorites like Rockstar, Call My Name, Surrender, God of Wonder and more the band kept everyone on their feet wanting more of God’s amazing worship. The set included a guest visit by new artist Trevor Morgan doing his song Jesus Rides the Subway with Mac Powell on backup vocals. Watch for this artist. You’ll be hearing his name. Closing the show with Tunnel and then Creed Third Day left everyone wanting more.

And by the way, something I found recently is that you can listen to this entire performance from a link on the Third Day website. I have it playing now as I write this and it sounds fantastic. Big props to the band for doing this.

So here are a few photos to look through. I expect we will be adding more and always, if you need photos for editorial or commercial license please let us know.
