Starting in 2006 three brothers from Maryland started a rock band under their last name, Willet. The next 5 years would consist of heavy U.S. and international touring to speak on behalf of children that couldn’t speak for themselves. At the end of 2010, the band finalized a project that took over 3-years to develop and decided to invest the profit made from CD sales, tour dates, and merchandise sales into a new non-profit they started called The Hunger Strike. The Hunger Strike became an official partner of Food for the Hungry, staying true to the vision to respond to God’s call “until physical and spiritual hungers are ended worldwide”. Below you’ll find some photos from their performance at Spring Jam festival 2011. When you’re done with that you can find out more about Willet on their website or facebook page.
